The Story
“Cut leather into a wave and it becomes something different. The Wave Hold is a trifold that earns its name.”
The scalloped wave profile runs the entire top edge of the Wave Hold — three clean curves cut into the chestnut pull-up leather, producing a form that is immediately distinctive against every other bifold in this collection. It is not decorative. The wave profile reduces the grip resistance when pulling the wallet from a pocket, and the cut corners prevent curling over time.
The chestnut pull-up leather shows natural grain movement and light-pull tones where it bends — the wave cut displays this effect across the curved edge, creating an effect no straight-cut wallet can replicate. Cream saddle stitching runs the full interior and edge. Dark chocolate edge paint seals all cut surfaces.
Inside: the left panel carries two curved card slots and a full-width bill pocket. The right panel centres a large mesh ID window with a card slot above it. Everything accessible. Nothing lost.

Quality & Craftsmanship
Pull-up leather is a high-oil full-grain hide — the light-pull effect at the wave cut and fold points is a natural property of the material, not a flaw. The edge paint is applied in multiple coats to all cut surfaces for a sealed, burnished edge finish. Cream saddle stitching is hand-tension nylon thread that holds position under flex. The mesh ID window is bordered with a stitched leather frame.
Uses
- Daily carry for the man who wants distinction without ornamentation
- Gift for leather goods enthusiasts — the construction details reward close inspection
- Pairs with brown, tan, cognac and caramel leather goods
Care & Maintenance
Condition monthly with an oil-based leather conditioner to maintain the pull-up effect. Edge paint will chip with extreme impact — avoid sitting on the wallet for extended periods. The wave-cut edge can be lightly burnished with a leather edge slicker if any fibre rises at the cut points. Store flat.
Special Attributes
The wave-cut top edge is the only sculptural design feature in this collection — it is cut from the full leather panel in a single pass, not assembled from separate pieces.
